I’m working on a years-long project with my trading buddies on illustratedatcs.com. Every few months we each make a tarot card, this time mine was The Star. I make 6 of the same Star card, keep one and send the other 5 to the host who distributes to the other artists in the swap. So in the mail I receive back from our host 5 different cards. In the end I’ll have an entire deck of original art tarot. Now if that isn’t thrilling I don’t know what is. Here is my STAR. I wish you could see it in real life, it is VERY sparkly, as all stars should be.

An oracle card for a friend. She’s 3×5 and loaded with sweet.
For you on this colorful day.

I live about as rural as I ever have, but town is as convenient as it has ever been also. To get to my town I usually take the easy way especially when the weather is bad which right now seems like always. An organic farm is on the way, on the right side. David works long and hard on his farm. He’ll start to be out in his fields all day long as soon as the snows disappears. He works magic with his experience and muscles. I really appreciate that we get to see the transformation to his colorful bounty, soon.
David’s partner Amy grows an entire garden of organic flowers right next to the road. This garden enriches my life, my days, my drives and I especially enjoy Amy’s choice of flowers. She grows zinnias, my favorite and that’s a whole other story.
I made this painting because when I drive by Amy’s flower garden in the winter it feels like nothing will ever grow again. I think about flowers so much this time of year, we are right on the brink of tulips and peepers and sunshine. Under the pile of snow on top of Amy’s garden those flowers are just waiting to pop. I can’t see them but I know they’re there.

The guys are outside boiling sap. I can hear water flowing in our little stream. This is the demarkation of winter to spring around these parts. I couldn’t be happier! She’s in my shoppe now:)
Hoppy Spring Rabbit CatIllustrates
The original has hopped away, but you can order a print of this by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Happy hoppy spring!
This little Red was painting on a direct mail postcard, so I’ve been recycling. The art is mounted on a piece of smooth up-cycled wood from my husband’s work. It can hang on a wall with a wire on the back attached to the little red beads you can see on the front, or you can prop it wherever you wish.
Head on over to my Facebook page to enter the drawing and I’ll send this to you if you win!
Cathy is cool and give away art!

More free art peeps! This is again a photo print on canvas. Measures 5×7 and is sparkly on top of the inks. The original painting is gone but the print is pretty darn neat. The little drawings are chakra mandalas. The leafy bits are made from hand carved stamps by me:)
Here’s how you can have this…I am cat illustrates on Facebook so find me, LIKE my page, and SHARE my post. I’ll have my dog randomly choose from those who share my image and I’ll mail this little canvas to you! Easy…now go!
